2018 Labor Day Cup Champions!

Guilford, Conn.—This past weekend, ECC Tournaments held its third annual Labor Day Cup at rinks in Canton, MA, Haverhill, MA, Tewksbury, MA, Hooksett, NH, Hudson, NH, Salem, NH and Hudson, NH. 

With the conclusion of the 2018 Labor Day Cup, we would like to congratulate the 2018 champions. 

Taking home the title for the 14U White Division was the Boston Junior Huskies after they defeated the Canton Bulldogs 2-0 in the finals.  

The Neponset Valley River Rats beat the Springfield Rifles to be crowned the champions of the 14U Red Division with a 5-1 win. 

In the 15U White Division, the Rochester Monarchs won the 15U White Division with a 4-1 win over the New Jersey Colonials. 

The North Jersey Avalanche took a 4-1 win against Yale to be champions of the 15U Red Division. 

For the 16U Division, the New Jersey Devils took the crown for the White East/West Championship over the New Jersey Colonials 4-3 in overtime! 

The 16U White North/South Division was won by the Southern CT Starswith a win against the Seacoast Spartans 2-1. 

In the Red Division, Yalebeat the Rochester Coalition in a 4-1 win. 

The Neponset Valley River Rats Premier team won the 16U Blue Division with a 6-1 win over the East Coast Wizards. 

After a huge comeback, the 95 Hockey Giants beat the Rhode Island Hitmen 6-5 in overtime to be champions of the 18U White Division.

Yale won the 18U Red division with a 1-0 win over the Clycones Prep. 

The Igloo Jaguars won the 18U Blue Division in overtime with a 4-3 win against the Rhode Island Hitmen. 

"The competition and exposure this year was excellent,” Said, ECC Director, Peter Alden. “We would like to congratulate the champions and thank everyone for making this weekend a success.”
