The 2025 ECC College Cup delivered an exciting weekend of elite youth hockey, held October 17–19 at Cyclones Arena in Hudson, New Hampshire. Featuring top-tier competition in both the 16U and 18U divisions, the tournament brought together standout programs from across the region and offered a high-exposure platform for aspiring college athletes.
16U Division: PAL Blue Knights Claim the Crown
The 16U field included six teams: PAL Blue Knights, Elite Hockey Academy, Top Speed Hockey, Cyclones Academy, Elite Hockey Academy Split-Season, and NH Kings 15U.
After two days of pool play, Elite Hockey Academy led the pack with a perfect 3-0 record. PAL Blue Knights and Top Speed Hockey followed at 2-1, while Cyclones Academy secured the final playoff spot at 1-2.In semifinal action, PAL blanked Top Speed 4-0, and Cyclones stunned the undefeated Elite Hockey Academy with a 4-2 upset. The final saw PAL Blue Knights continue their dominant run, defeating Cyclones 3-1 to win the 16U College Cup championship.
18U Division: Elite Hockey Academy Finishes Strong
The 18U bracket featured another competitive lineup: Elite Hockey Academy, Cyclones, NY Saints, Top Speed, NJ Avalanche, and Wilmington (NH).
Elite Hockey Academy once again led pool play with a 3-0 record. Cyclones and NY Saints both went 2-1, while Top Speed edged into the playoffs at 1-2.In the semifinals, Cyclones took down NY Saints 5-2, and Elite Hockey Academy earned a hard-fought 3-2 win over Top Speed. The championship saw Elite Hockey Academy cap off a dominant tournament, beating Cyclones 5-1 to take home the 18U title.
